Concept development is the process of transforming your product ideas, derived from insights into user needs, into a detailed blueprint that can be tested and defined. At Ruizhi Sourcing, we will assist you in translating your product concepts into specific functional definitions, visual and material specifications, as well as identifying potential risks during the product realization process.
During this phase of product development, It is the process of translating product ideas into actionable product design blueprints, encompassing the design drawings for the structure, electronics, and packaging of all components. We will leverage our practical manufacturing experience to optimize the details of the drawings and ensure compliance with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) standards
During this phase, Ruizhi Sourcing’s rapid prototyping services transform design drawings into physical forms, creating proof-of-concept prototyping that validate the initial product concept (through user research, alpha, and beta testing).
These prototypes provide a more tangible and defined product vision to investors, target users, and the team. Based on the 3D model and product drawings, Ruizhi Sourcing will collaborate with you to discuss the preliminary product components, manufacturing requirements, and assembly complexities
Based on planned materials, processes, and manufacturing methods, we conduct factory inspections, use our own supplier database, and communicate with manufacturers to select those that meet customer quality and cost expectations.
Then, we verify cost, process complexity, lead times, and identify any existing issues for the product one by one.
Analyze the material and process cost of each part, estimate the total manufacturing cost, and output our quotation (price/difficulty/cycle). We also note cost increase risks, quality risks, potential risks, and our proposed solutions.
In the product development prototyping phase, we create and assemble molds based on the drawings to verify precision. Through multiple iterations(EVT-DVT-PVT) and adjustments, we produce samples within the acceptable error range.
Then, we proceed with process debugging, communication, and sample testing to deliver the final bulk samples that meet customer requirements.
After validation in the previous stages, when the product’s functionality, appearance, cost budget, and quality lead times meet expectations, we proceed to small-batch trial production to verify DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and address production capacity ramp-up. We will coordinate communication at each stage to ensure a smooth implementation of the final Mass Production (MP).
For new product development, we will collaborate with you to establish the standard inspection procedure (SIP) for the product. Whether you choose us or a third party as the Quality Assurance Team, we will diligently follow the quality control methods outlined in the NPD process to meet the critical product quality requirements and ensure on-time delivery with high quality.
